Glowing Skin Starts...

To readers new to my blog, a Big welcome! and to existing readers, thank you for your Loyal support viewing this page; dedicated to achieving glowing skin, complexion or skin texture with ease.

So diving straight to the point, the secret is exfoliation and the use of masks. It is the essential part to skin glow. You may already know that liquid masks and exfoliators can be highly productive in the removal of dead skin layers, and even more effective when combined with tools/equipment before or during the mask and exfoliation application.

So is there anything else that can improve all these techniques? Regular replacements of tool attachments are essential. You should be changing this as often as you change your toothbrush. Don't be using it for extended periods of time. Facial brush heads for example should be upgraded every 3-4 months.

Remembering this essential step, makes the process of achieving glowing skin easier. Focus extra attention to elbows, knees, ankles and upper arms regularly to ensure the skin feels and looks softer.

I particularly enjoy the process of DIY Masks and Scrubs 2-3 times per week and share my regimen below.

Sea Salt Scrub:

2 tablespoons Sea Salt (exfoliant) you may swap for Brown Sugar instead
3 teaspoons grated Ginger (warms the body and increases circulation)
finely grated peel of 1 Lime/Lemon (cleaning)
6 slices of cucumber/ Aloe Vera Leave squeezed, chopped (cooling)
15ml (1/2 fl Oz) Almond Oil or Sesame Seed Oil, these oils can naturally brighten, lighten skin and remove marks (nourishing - a good skin emollient)

Blend together in a processor. You can use all over the body.

Ultra Day Scrub:

450g (16oz) Brown Sugar (for sensitive skin)  alternatively use Table or Sea salt

Add:
150ml (5 1/4 fl Oz) Grapeseed Oil
100ml (3 1/2 fl Oz) Sweet Almond Oil

Essential Oils:
Add 25 drops of Neroli Essential Oil
10 drops Sandalwood Essential Oil
10 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
10 drops Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil
5 drops Patchouli Essential Oil

The above are great skin brighteners for the skin and helps soothe are spiritual wellbeing.

Green Tea Scrub

2 tablespoon of Green Tea Leaves/Bag (exfoliant)
1 tablespoon uncooked Brown Rice with the husk on (exfoliant)
1 teaspoon uncooked Honey to bind the scrub (moisturizing and helps the mixture smooth over skin)
